Zaoberá sa modelovaním a simuláciou diskrétnych procesov, multi-agentovými systémami, metódami umelej inteligencie a modelovaním znalostí. She is a supervisor and a consultant for PhD study at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. <cv_sk>František Čapkovič ukončil vysokoškolské štúdium v r. 1972 na Elektrotechnickej fakulte Slovenskej vysokej škole technickej v Bratislave v odbore Technická kybernetika, špecializácii Automatizácia a riadenie. V rokoch 1972-1991 pracoval v Ústave technickej kybernetiky (ÚTK) Slovenskej akadémie vied v Bratislave. Po dokončení vedeckej prípravy v rokoch 1976-1979 v odbore Technická kybernetika, špecializácii Automatizácia a riadenie získal v r. 1980 vedeckú hodnosť kandidáta technických vied - CSc. - od Slovenskej akadémie vied. Od r. 1991, kedy bol ÚTK rozdelený, do r. 2001 pracoval v následníckom Ústave teórie riadenia a robotiky (ÚTRR) ako vedúci oddelenia. Od r. 1998 je docentom. Od r. 2001, kedy bol ÚTRR zlúčený s Ústavom informatiky (ÚI), dodnes pracuje v ÚI SAV ako docent a vedúci vedecko-výskumných projektov. Pracuje v oblasti riešenia problémov modelovania, analýzy a syntézy inteligentného riadenia udalostných systémov (discrete-event systems) a dynamických udalostných systémov (discrete-event dynamic systems - DEDS). V súčasnosti sú jeho práce založené najmä na teórii Petriho sietí a ich aplikáciách. Od r. 1991 bol vedúcim desiatich národných projektov GAV a VEGA a štrnástich medzinárodných projektov rôzneho typu (vrátane bilaterálnych a trilaterálnych projektov, projektov INCO Copernicus, Esprit, DAAD). Je autorom viac ako 250 významnejších publikácií v časopisoch, kapitolách kníh, zborníkoch konferencií, výskumných správach na zahraničných univerzitách (Dánsko, Japonsko).</cv_sk>
<cv_en>František Čapkovič finished in 1972 his university studies in the Electrotechnical Faculty, Slovak Technical University, Bratislava, Slovakia, in the area of Technical Cybernetics, Automation and Control specialization. Since 1972 to 1991 he had been working in the Institute of Technical Cybernetics (ITC), Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava. After finishing PhD studies in the area of Technical Cybernetics, Automation and Control specialization (1976-1979) in 1980 he received the CSc. degree (the Slovak analogy to PhD) from the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Since 1991, when the ICT was divided, till 2001 he had been working in the successional Institute of Control Theory and Robotics (ICTR) as a head of a research group. Since 1998 he has been the Associate Professor. Since 2001, when the ICTR was linked together with Institute of Informatics, he has been with the Institute of Informatics, Slovak Academy of Sciences as the Associate Professor and a head of the research projects. He is interested in solving the problems of modelling, analyzing and intelligent control synthesis of Discrete-Event Systems (DES) and Discrete-Event Dynamic Systems (DEDS) modelling and control. At present his works are based especially on utilizing Petri net theory and its applications. Since 1991 he has been a head of ten national projects under grant of Slovak grant agencies GAV and/or VEGA and fourteen international projects of different kinds - including bilateral and trilateral projects and projects INCO-Copernicus, Esprit, DAAD). <cv_en>Štefan Havlík graduated in Mechanical and in Control engineering and received the (M.S.) degree from Czech Technical University, Liberec (1972). In 1982 he received the Ph.D. degree and the highest scientific degree Dr.Sc. (1994) from the Slovak Academy of Sciences, the scientific institution, where he works since 1977. <br />
Within years 1991 and 1992 he has been appointed as invited professor at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL-DMT/IMT) in Lausanne, Switzerland. Currently he is head of the research department at the Institute of Informatics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia.<br />
– His research activities diverge from solving problems of advanced robotics, control to applications. His main contributions are oriented to the following topics:<br />
– Mechatronic design and flexible structures<br />
– Sensors and sensory equipment<br />
– Applications of advanced robotics: precise assembly and welding, service operations<br />
– Robotic tools for demining.<br />
He is author more then 100 scientific papers in books, international scientific journals and conference proceedings. He was leading several research projects oriented to development advanced sensing and robotic systems for manufacturing (arc welding, assembly) or for humanitarian demining.<br />
He is/was member of several professional organizations and committees under IARP, IMECO, IFAC or IFToMM, IFToMM - Robotic and mechatronics, RAAD.<br />

<cv_sk>Ing. Jaroslav Hricko, PhD., 1980, Rožňava, Slovenská republika. V roku 2005 ukončil štúdium na Fakulte mechatroniky TnUAD v Trenčíne s titulom Ing. v študijnom programe Mechatronika. Následne pôsobil na Katedre mechatronických systémov ako odborný asistent. V roku 2011 obhájil svoju dizertačnú prácu na tému: Analýza, modelovanie a optimalizácia návrhu pružných mechanizmov, na Slovenskej technickej univerzite v Bratislave v študijnom programe Automatizácia a riadenie. Od roku 2010 pôsobí na Ústave informatiky Slovenskej akadémie vied. Zameriava sa na riešenie vedeckých problémov v oblastí teórie riadenia, modelovania a simulácie mechatronických systémov, optimalizácie, priemyselnej informatiky, pružne poddajných mechanizmov a mikro-elektro-mechanickým štruktúram (MEMS). </cv_sk>
<cv_en>Ing. Jaroslav Hricko, PhD., was born at 1980 in Roznava, Slovakia. His university education in mechatronics he has finished in Trencin (Ing. 2005). After his studies he worked at Department of Mechatronics Systems TnUAD Trencin. In 2011 he received the PhD. degree in study program Automation and Control at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. The thesis topic was “Analysis, Modeling and Optimization of Compliant Mechanisms Design”. Science 2010 he has been research scientist at the Slovak Academy of Sciences. His research interest are control theory, modeling and simulation of mechatronics systems, optimization, industrial informatics, MEMS and compliant mechanism.</cv_en>

<cv_en>Martin Kenyeres is a research scientist (IIa since 2022) at the Institute of Informatics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (Slovakia) and a doctoral advisor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (Slovakia). He received his M.Sc. from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and his Ph.D. from the Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic). His primary research interests include distributed algorithms for data aggregation in multi-agent systems and wireless sensor networks. He has authored/co-authored almost 50 scientific papers (indexed in Scopus) in these areas. In 2013, he was with the Vienna University of Technology (Austria), where he participated in the NFN SISE project under Professor Markus Rupp's supervision. Since 2018, Martin has been with the Institute of Informatics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. In 2019, Martin Kenyeres received the Stefan Schwarz Supporting Fund (prolonged in 2021). In addition, he has handled plenty of national and international projects and completed several foreign internships. Besides, Martin is a member of the editorial/reviewer/topics board of several prestigious journals and a guest editor of special issues the topics of which relate to his expertise.</cv_en>

<cv_sk>Ján Mojžiš pochádza z Banskej Bystrice. Po obhájení záverečnej práce s titulom ”Automatizovaný návrh školského rozvrhu” takmer 2 mesiace pracoval ako programátor v miestnej firme SOMI Systems, než sa prihlásil na PhD. štúdiom aplikovanej informatiky na FIIT STU.V jeho oblasti navigácie a objavovania vzťahov v grafoch sa svojou prácou aktívne podieľa na riešení problémov a nachádzaní nových trendov. Medzi domény jeho pôsobenia patria Sémantický web, Prepojené dáta, Objavovanie vzťahov v štruktúrovaných a neštruktúrovaných dátach a grafová vizualizácia. Výsledky prezentuje na domácich aj zahraničných vedeckých konferenciách, ktorých výstupy tvoria zborníky aj rozšírené verzie článkov v knižných publikáciách. Získava ocencnia ako vedec pomáha popularizovať vedu na akciách Noc Výskumníka a reprezentovať svoje pracovisko. Je členom IEEE Young Professionals. Pravidelne vedie cvičenia kurzov objektového alebo procedurálneho programovania na fakultách Informatiky a Elektrotechniky STU v Bratislave. Na Ústave Informatiky, jeho pôvodnom školiacom pracovisku, pracoval na nasledovných národných projektoch ako riešiteľ: S podporou Agentúry na výskum a vývoj (APVV), CLAN APVV-0809-11 a s podporou Vedeckej grantovej agentúry MŠVVaŠSR a SAV VEGA 2/0185/13. Náplňou týchto projektov bolo priamo počítanie veľkých dát a spracovanie informácií a tvorba znalostných báz.</cv_sk>

<cv_sk>Marian Trnka sa narodil v Malackách v roku 1971. Titul inžinier získal v roku 1994 na katedre Technickej kybernetiky Elektrotechnickej fakulty Slovenskej technickej univerzity v Bratislave. Členom oddelenia analýzy a syntézy reči Ústavu informatiky sa stal v roku 1996. Zaoberá sa syntézou reči, rozpoznávaním reči a rečovými databázami.</cv_sk>
<cv_en>Marian Trnka was born in Malacky, Slovakia in 1971. He received the Ing Degree in technical cybernetics in 1994 from the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. He has joined the Department of Speech Analysis and Synthesis at the Institute of Informatics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in 1996. His research interests include unit selection and diphone speech synthesis systems, speech recognition, signal processing algorithms and speech databases.</cv_en>

V súčasnosti sa zaujímam o stochastické prehľadávacie techniky, rozvrhovanie procesov, swarm robotiku a metódy inšpirované prírodou pre riadenie a koordináciu skupiny heterogénnych robotov. <br />

<cv_en>I received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Control and Information Systems, Zilina University in 2006 and 2009 respectively. My research interests include stochastic search techniques, biologically inspired Methods for control and coordination of a group of mobile robots, swarm robotics and Scheduling process optimization. I have published several papers in various international conference proceedings and a chapter in a book in the mentioned areas.<br />
