Visit by Belgian Master students in Engineering Technology Electronics ICT

Prof. dr. Kris Aerts (professor ICT at KU Leuven campus Diepenbeek at the faculty of Engineering Technology) along with prof. Thoelen of Uhasselt and 27 master students in their final year of Electronics and ICT will be visiting Bratislava. On February 14, 2019, they will visit our institute.

For the delegation, we have prepared an interesting program since 10 am to 2 pm, including presentations and discussion on parallel programming for clouds, about participation in EU projects 7FP, and H2020. They will have excursions to the Supercomputing Centre of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and HPC Centre at II SAS. Also discussion of the potential cooperation will be an important part of the visit program.

  • 11:45 Visit the Supercomputing Centre of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and HPC Centre at II SAS/ Návšteva superpočítačového centra SAV a HPC centra ÚI SAV
  • 13:00 – 14:00 discussion of the potential cooperation/diskusia o možnostiach vzájomnej spolupráce
